Humphrey, Hubert Horatio
(1911-1978) Хамфри, Губерт Горацио (Хьюберт Хорейшо)
Политический и государственный деятель, представитель либерального крыла Демократической партии [Democratic Party], мэр г. Миннеаполиса, избирался сенатором [senator] от штата Миннесота в 1949-64 и 1971-79. Вице-президент США [Vice-President, U.S.] в 1965-69 в администрации Л. Джонсона [Johnson, Lyndon Baines (LBJ)]. В 1968 не прошел в качестве кандидата на пост президента, в 1970 переизбран в Сенат.
